CW Allen Set to Release The Dream Baby Vol. 1

CW Allen, from Chicago’s South Side has scheduled his latest release—The Dream Baby (Volume 1)— for Friday November 2, 2018. 

What happens when the dreamers find themselves at an intersection between hoping and how things really are? The Dream Baby is the first of an EP series addressing that question through faith, romance, and politics. From the first words of it’s haunting into, “Do Wit It”, it’s apparent that CW Allen is here to captivate his listeners. Blending his witty lyricism with the production of Cleveland native, Fconthebeat, “Do Wit It” is to be a highlight of the listeners experience.

Grammy and Stellar award winning producer Alex Hitchens assisted in crafting the vibe of “Do Me”, the second track of the EP. “Do Me” mirrors a soulful 90’s house vibe while Incorporating elements of trap and dub step. This song is definitely dance floor ready. Rounding out the project are two soulful venting sessions, “Unsaid Things” and “Ecstasy.” After these short emotional experiences listeners are left asking will CW stay in this mindset or will he begin a new path to correct the frustrations he addresses.
